Unlike traditional wood stop molding, this cellular PVC construction is engineered to hold its shape and sealing performance through repeated seasonal temperature cycles without cracking, warping, or rotting.
This is a jamb-mounted weatherstrip — it nails or screws to the door frame (the stop molding surrounding the door opening), creating a compression seal between the frame and the door panel when the door closes. It is the correct replacement product when the existing stop molding along the sides and top of the door opening has deteriorated, separated from the frame, or is no longer making consistent contact with the door. Available in straight stick lengths for individual-door projects and in a coiled kit format for bulk installations, it covers both residential and commercial garage door applications.
