SurePath Belting and Welded Wing Construction
The core advantage of the Endura-Veyor 2500W is its SurePath belting with welded wing construction. Where conventional hinged steel belt conveyors use stamped or formed sidewings that leave small gaps between the sidewing and apron, the 2500W’s welded wings are permanently attached to the belt apron. This eliminates the gaps where chips, turnings, and small parts can wedge, jam, and eventually stall the belt. The result is a conveyor that feeds consistent flows of material with significantly less maintenance downtime from jam clearing.
SurePath belting also stays firmly on track—a design feature that prevents the belt tracking problems that plague conventional conveyors. Combined with flanged rollers that keep belt axles from scrubbing against the frame, the 2500W reduces belt drag, wear, and mechanical failures compared to conveyors that rely on manual belt adjustment or external tracking devices.
2,500 lb Belt Pull Capacity
The 2500W’s 2,500 lb belt pull capacity places it at the upper end of the 2½” pitch class. This capacity supports longer conveyor runs, steeper inclines under heavier chip loads, and multi-machine scrap collection applications where the total belt load exceeds what lighter conveyors can handle. The 9⅝” high 10-gauge frame provides the structural foundation for this belt pull rating.
Five Drive Styles
The 2500W is available with five drive mounting configurations: top mount, underhung/bottom mount, side mount, and shaft-mounted drive packages. Drive HP ranges from ¼ to 2 HP. Standard speeds include 5, 10, 20, 30, and 40 FPM with custom speeds available. This drive flexibility allows the 2500W to be installed in configurations that other conveyors can’t accommodate—where the drive must be underneath the machine, beside the frame, or in a non-standard position to fit the available space.
Easy-Access Removable Bottom Covers
The 2500W uses removable bottom covers rather than welded or bolted-in-place bottom pans. This makes belt inspection, tramp metal clearing, and routine maintenance faster and easier than on conveyors with fixed bottom panels. When a jam does occur or tramp metal needs to be removed, the bottom covers lift off without tools—reducing maintenance time and getting the conveyor back in service faster.
Belt and Frame Specifications
The 2500W belt is a 2½” pitch SurePath hinged steel belt with welded wings. Pan types include plain, pimpled, and pimpled/perforated options. Standard belt widths are 6″, 12″, 18″, 24″, 30″, and 36″ with custom widths available. Standard curves include 30°, 45°, and 60° with custom angles available. Belt accessories include cleats, wiper cleats, and heat bars/top plates. Stainless steel and combination belt options are available.
Options include access panels, infeed and transition guides, side skirts, hoppers, top covers, discharge chutes, casters, electrical controls, oilers, impact pads/rails, coolant/quench tanks with filtration options, liquid-tight construction, belt brushes, drop chutes, and stainless steel construction.
Applications
The 2500W is specified for CNC machining centers, metal fabrication, machining, stamping, recycling, turning, forging, and window glass cutting operations. Its welded wing construction makes it particularly well-suited for applications that produce small, sharp chips that jam conventional sidewing designs—fine turnings, small stampings, and brass or aluminum chips that tend to wedge into belt gaps.
