SAFETY, SECURITY, & SEPARATION
WireCrafters manufactures wire partitions for the commercial and industrial marketplace. Wire partitions are modular steel systems that are used for safety, security, and separation. Mesh, welded or woven, is securely welded inside sturdy angle frames to create a single wire partition panel. These wire mesh partition panels are then bolted to square steel tubing posts to create a strong and rigid modular wall or enclosure.
THE BUILDING BLOCK APPROACH
WireCrafters twenty stock Style 840 wire partition panels and stock posts allow you to design almost any wire partition system to meet your needs. Our partition panels come in one foot increments from 1' to 10' wide, and in heights of 4' and 5'.
By stacking WireCrafters Style 840 wire partition panels one on top of the other, you can create a partition system of almost any height. For example, two 4' high panels stack to make an 8' high system. With WireCrafters building block approach, you can create long runs of partitions of over 30' in height; still utilizing stock panels. WireCrafters also supplies a sheet metal adjustable panel when an exact dimension is required. These same stock wire partition panels can also be used for ceiling panels.
Tool cribs, maintenance cages, and secure inventory storage areas can have clear span ceilings up to 30' wide. Along with the wire partition panels and posts, we also offer a variety of door options. Slide to the side doors from 3' to 10' wide and hinge doors 3' and 4' wide are the most commonly used in applications.
MANY APPLICATIONS FOR WIRE PARTITIONS
Wire partitions are used in manufacturing and warehouse facilities for tool cribs, maintenance equipment cages, and general storage areas. WireCrafters wire partitions are also used to build free-standing, multi-use storage cages and enclosures on facility floors. Secure enclosures are constructed with wire partition panels and used for inventory control where open access to products may be a problem. Wire partitions are commonly used for machine guarding and robotic work cells where safety is a major concern. As a safety product, wire partition panels are bolted to the back of pallet racks to protect personnel in active aisle ways from potential falling objects.
DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS
Standard configurations of WireCrafters wire partitions are typically two, three, or four sided partitions with an entry door to the caged area. These basic wire mesh cages are kept in stock for quick 48 hour shipping. Larger stock cages are also available with sliding doors up to 10' wide. Custom wire partition configurations are also available. Full height partitions over 30' tall and clear span ceilings up to 30' wide can be constructed with the WireCrafters partition system. Our experienced engineering department can take your specific requirements and prepare a detailed CAD drawing after ordering for most any custom design.
STYLE 840 WOVEN WIRE PANELS
Woven wire mesh partition panels are constructed of 10 gauge wire, woven into a 2" x 1" rectangular mesh design. This wire mesh is then welded into a 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/8" hot rolled angle. Depending on the size of the panels, we also weld a flat stiffener bar to the mesh and angle frame. The wire mesh panels then bolt directly to a 2" square, 14 gauge steel tube post with 3/8" hardware - which is the strongest in the industry. The posts have a welded base plate and we provide floor anchors to ensure a strong rigid partition system. WireCrafters designs this wire partition system with all of the hardware on the inside of the cage. With hardware accessible only from the inside of the enclosure, security is guaranteed.
RAPIDWIRE™ WELDED WIRE PANELS
WireCrafters also offers its 840 Style Partitions in a welded mesh. RapidWire™ is a welded wire mesh made of ten gauge wire in a 2" square pattern. This welded mesh can be substituted for the standard Style 840 woven wire mesh. RapidWire's angle frame is a 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" 13 gauge rolled form angle. The posts, made of two inch square tubing, are the same as our traditional Style 840 partitions.
Almost any application we offer in our traditional woven wire mesh can also be constructed using this welded wire mesh. Both the 840 Style woven wire and the RapidWire™ welded wire provide a very strong and secure wire partition, and both systems offer a full line of hinged and sliding doors. RapidWire™ welded mesh lends itself to easy modifications in the field when installing and making cutouts. With every wire welded to another, the mesh stays in place as you make cuts to go around obstructions. Our RackBack® Safety Panels as well as our Tenant Storage Lockers are currently manufactured with RapidWire™ 2" square ten gauge welded mesh.
BEYOND THE STANDARD
WireCrafters has a wide array of options for the basic wire partition cage. Along with our standard hinged and sliding doors, we can supply vertical rise doors, motorized sliding doors, and dutch and double-hinged doors. These doors can be equipped with a basic key lock, or for more security, we also offer keypad locks, card readers, finger print scanners, and even emergency exit push bars to name a few. WireCrafters stocks eight different powder coat colors in house, but can also match any color with a paint chip or RAL number.
