Features & Benefits
For starters, our cantilever racking system doesn't require tools when you're building it, making it accessible to any user. Moving shelves is a piece of cake thanks to the rack's integrated notches.
On the topic of construction, the uprights include welded clips on 12" centers. This forms a secure cantilever mechanism that keeps your shelves stable and balanced. Speaking of cantilevers, single-sided cantilever setups can aligned for storing longer materials. Also, the adjustable front feet make leveling more precise and easier to do.
Applications
Our cantilever shelves can solve issues in a range of businesses, including the following:
- Manufacturing facilities
- Lumber yards
- Shipping centers
- Auto repair shops and facilities
- Retail stores
- Warehouses
Assembly
Before assembling the shelves, ensure you have access to a 7/16" socket and ratchet. Begin by laying out the parts in the order they will be assembled. The tabs that support the shelving should face each other. Install the horizontal brace on the back side of the mounting tabs. Insert the carriage bolt with the bolt head positioned at the back of the unit, and place a washer and lock nut on the front.
Note:Â Do not tighten the bolts until a later step in the assembly process.
Repeat this step to insert the bolt, washer, and lock nut on the other side of the brace. Follow the same instructions when installing both the common and right sections of the unit. Once all sections are installed, stand the frame upright with the bolts still loose. Install the top and bottom shelves on both sides of the unit, then tighten all bolts. After tightening, finish installing the remaining shelves.
Care & Maintenance
To maintain the aluminum, begin by wiping it down with warm water and mild dish soap using a soft cloth or sponge. For deeper cleaning, apply a vinegar-water solution to remove oxidation and restore shine, and use baking soda for tougher stains. Always dry the surface thoroughly to prevent water spots and avoid harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia that can damage the finish. Regular gentle cleaning will help preserve the aluminum's appearance and durability.
