Overview
The ErgoBoost Electric Drive System is a compact, high-performance mobility solution designed to retrofit existing equipment with powered movement. Ideal for small transport trolleys, workbenches, laundry carts, and workshop tables, ErgoBoost simplifies movement and improves control.
This electric drive system uses a brushless DC motor and patented Woodruff spring technology to deliver smooth, quiet operation. With a plug-and-play setup, it’s easy to install and immediately enhances efficiency and safety.
Features and Benefits
ErgoBoost includes a driven, fixed spring castor with integrated control, two replaceable 18V battery with display, and a handle with rotary joystick and LED on-button. The electric drive supports speeds up to 4 km/h and a thrust force of 30 daN, making it suitable for moving loads gently and reliably.
The system features a countercurrent brake for active stopping and is protected to IP44/IP65 standards. The castor housing is made of zinc-plated steel and offers excellent damping. The wheels are made of high-quality elastic solid rubber for low-noise, non-marking operation.
The ErgoBoost system also supports safety-critical features such as an emergency brake, and can be configured to meet specific requirements including hand brakes, parking brake systems, and even integration with a hydraulic brake system if needed. These features help prevent brake failure and ensure safe operation in demanding environments.
Applications
The ErgoBoost system is ideal for a wide range of mobile equipment across industries. Common applications include:
- Transport trolleys
- Workbenches
