Overview
This heavy duty kingpinless rigid caster has a polyurethane wheel with a radius tread and a diameter of 6 inches, making it ideal for the most demanding industrial applications. This rigid caster is designed for use in tandem with our kingpinless swivel casters for optimal performance and mobility in high-stress environments. Most carts use 2 swivel and 2 rigid casters for the best combination of maneuverability and directional stability, especially when handling exceptionally heavy loads.
Benefits
The main benefit of the 60 Series rigid casters is their heavy-duty construction that allows for longer use, better ergonomics and more efficiency in industrial applications. Polyurethane wheels have their own benefits, such as superior floor protection, longer service life, low rolling resistance, high dynamic load capacity and high tear resistance. Ball bearings are sealed and pre-lubricated, providing better ergonomics and less maintenance. The heavy duty design provides enhanced structural integrity for extreme weight loads.
Applications
Applications for heavy duty polyurethane kingpinless rigid casters include industrial manufacturing, heavy machinery transport, material handling equipment, and high-capacity storage systems. Due to the exceptional load capacity, these polyurethane caster wheels work great in Woodworking, Aerospace, Automotive and Food Processing industries where substantial weight loads are common. If your floor surface is frequently covered in debris or metal shavings, these polyurethane wheels are an excellent choice as their lower durometer allows them to more easily purge embedded debris compared to harder wheel materials. The radius tread design provides enhanced maneuverability and superior floor protection on smooth surfaces even under extreme weight loads.
