Polyurethane Caster Wheels
Overview
Featuring weight capacities of 500 to 1500 pounds per wheel, the 87 Shore A polyurethane elastomer is chemically and mechanically bonded to an extremely durable precision aluminum wheel core and has an operating temperature range of -40 to +180 degrees Fahrenheit.
The double bonding helps prevent tread separation, and due to the combination of numerous factors including the aluminum core, high-quality polyurethane tread, and precision ball bearings, crown-tread polyurethane on aluminum wheels are by far the best bet for towline and continuous-operation applications.
Applications
Polyurethane Caster Wheels are used in a variety of industrial applications including manufacturing and warehousing and are often used in towing applications where traction is need from the wheel tread. You'll find these industrial wheels on waste bins, platform trucks, bakery carts, job boxes and road cases. Due to the load capacity, polyurethane wheels work great in Woodworking, Aerospace, Automotive and Food Processing industries.
Specifications
The wheel material is a polyurethane injection molded to cast iron core, aluminum core and polypropylene core. These industrial wheels are available in roller bearing, ball bearing and delrin bearing options.
