Maintenance
To maintain the longevity of your commercial air curtain, here are some steps you should be following:
- Inspect the stainless steel body for scratches or dents that might indicate internal damage.
- Ensure all motors are spinning properly. Fortunately, these single-phase motors are permanently lubricated and don't require new coats of grease.
- Clean the air intake screen regularly by removing it and flushing with hot water or steam, allowing it to dry completely before re-installation.
- Check that the discharge vanes remain properly adjusted at the factory preset position for optimal airflow direction. The unit comes with these vanes already adjusted for optimal performance but can be modified to accommodate specific environmental conditions if necessary.
