Titan Model 525 Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyor – Heavy Duty 2.5 In. Dia.

The Titan Model 525 is a heavy duty chain driven live roller conveyor designed for loaded pallets, skids, drums, and heavy containers. It uses 2.5 in. dia. x 11 ga. rollers (580 lbs. per roller) with #50 roll-to-roll chain drive in a heavy formed 7 gauge frame with one-piece chain guard. Effective widths range from 15 in. to 72 in. with roller centers as tight as 2-13/16 in. Standard drive is 3/4 HP at 30 FPM with options up to 3 HP. Also available with 2-5/8 in. dia. x 7 ga. heavy wall rollers. Integrates with Titan pop-up transfers, stops, pallet centering, lifts, crowders, and pallet destacker systems.

Heavy Duty Pallet Conveyor with 7 Gauge Formed Frame

The Titan Model 525 steps up from the medium duty Model 519 with everything heavier — 2.5 in. diameter rollers rated at 580 lbs. each, #50 roll-to-roll chain drive, a formed 7 gauge frame (versus 10 gauge on the 519), and a one-piece chain guard that fully encloses the drive chains. This construction is purpose-built for loaded pallets, skids, drums, and heavy containers in industrial material handling environments where the 1.9 in. roller platform does not provide adequate capacity.

Tight Roller Centers for Pallet Contact

The Titan 525 offers roller centers as tight as 2-13/16 in. — significantly closer than the standard 4.5 in. or 6 in. spacing found on many competing CDLR models. Tighter centers put more rollers under the pallet, increasing the number of contact points and distributing load more evenly. This is especially important for pallets with weak or damaged bottom boards, lightweight slab pallets, or products with small footprints that need more roller support to transport reliably.

Titan Conveyor System Integration

The Model 525 integrates with Titan’s full line of pallet handling accessories, including 2, 3, and 4 strand chain transfers, belt transfers, pneumatic pin stops, pop-up stops, pallet lifts, pallet centering devices, pallet crowders, product rotation units, and pallet destackers for automated pallet handling systems. Drive locations can be configured as bottom mount, top mount, or side mount. Pallet jack plates are available for side or end loading.

Heavy Wall Roller Option

For applications with fork truck interface or abusive loading conditions, the Model 525 is available with 2-5/8 in. dia. x 7 ga. heavy wall rollers that resist impact damage — similar to the LEWCO CDLR26/CDDB26 heavy wall concept but on the Titan formed-frame platform.

Applications

The Model 525 is specified for loaded pallet transport in manufacturing, distribution, and warehousing, skid and drum handling in heavy industrial environments, palletizing and depalletizing line feed conveyors, automated pallet handling systems with destackers and centering devices, and any application where positive chain drive is required for loads that exceed the capacity of the 1.9 in. Model 519.

Selection Assistance from Barron Equipment

Choosing between the Titan 525, Titan 519, and LEWCO CDLR models depends on load weight, roller capacity requirements, frame construction preference, and system integration needs. Barron Equipment’s conveyor specialists help evaluate the application and specify the right platform.

FAQs

What is the difference between the Titan 525 and the Titan 519?

The 525 uses 2.5 in. dia. rollers (580 lbs. each) with #50 chain in a formed 7 ga. frame. The 519 uses 1.9 in. dia. rollers (250 lbs. each) with #40 chain in a formed 10 ga. frame. The 525 handles loaded pallets and heavy containers; the 519 handles boxes, light pallets, and medium duty loads.

Can I get the Model 525 with closer roller centers?

Yes. Roller centers as tight as 2-13/16 in. are available, along with 3-7/16 in., 4-3/8 in., 5 in., 5-15/16 in., and 10 in. options.

Does Barron Equipment install Titan conveyor systems?

Yes. Barron provides system design, installation, and service for Titan conveyor products across Iowa and the Midwest.
