Impact-Rated Curve Rollers for Rugged Industrial Systems
The CDRC25 curve handles standard pallet loads through turns effectively, but in systems where the CDLR26 heavy wall straight sections are specified — typically because fork trucks load directly onto the conveyor or loads are heavy enough to damage standard-gauge rollers — the curve sections need to match. The CDRC26 provides that match with 7 ga. heavy wall roller tubes that resist the same impact, abrasion, and rough handling that the CDLR26 straights are built for.
This is the only difference between the two curve models. The CDRC26 shares the same turn angles, frame construction, drive specifications, and control options as the CDRC25.
CDRC26 vs. CDRC25 — Roller Comparison
- CDRC26: 2.625 in. dia. x 7 ga. mild steel tube — heavy wall, impact rated
- CDRC25: 2.50 in. dia. x 11 ga. mild steel tube — standard duty
- All other specs identical: Turn angles (90°, 45°, 30°), frame, drive, motor, speed, and controls

When to Specify the CDRC26
Choose the CDRC26 when the straight sections in the system are CDLR26 or CDDB26 heavy wall models. Mixing 7 ga. heavy wall straights with 11 ga. standard curves creates an inconsistency — the curves become the weak point where rollers fail first. Matching the CDRC26 curve to the CDLR26 straight ensures uniform durability and roller life across the entire system.
Also specify the CDRC26 when the curve section is located in a fork truck traffic area, when heavy or sharp loads contact the curve rollers during direction changes, or when the operating environment subjects the entire conveyor system to conditions that damage standard-gauge rollers.
Applications
The CDRC26 is specified wherever CDLR26 heavy wall straight sections are used, including foundries, forging plants, steel service centers, heavy automotive manufacturing, and any environment where consistent heavy wall roller construction is required across both straight and curved conveyor sections.
