Titan Model 519 Chain Driven Live Roller Conveyor

The Titan Model 519 is a medium duty chain driven live roller conveyor designed for boxes, light weight pallets, and drums. It uses 1.9 in. dia. x 16 ga. rollers with 7/16 in. hex shaft and #40 roll-to-roll chain drive in a formed 10 gauge frame. Standard effective widths range from 12 in. to 50 in. with roller spacing at 4 in., 6 in., 8 in., or 12 in. The standard drive is 1/2 HP at 60 FPM. Maximum roller capacity is 250 lbs. per roller. Minimum length is 4 ft.

Medium Duty Chain Drive for Boxes, Light Pallets, and Drums

Not every chain driven application requires the heavier structural channel frame and larger rollers found in heavy duty CDLR conveyors. When the loads are boxes, totes, light weight pallets, or drums that stay within 250 lbs. per roller, the Titan Model 519 provides positive chain driven transport in a lighter, more economical formed frame construction. The #40 roll-to-roll chain drive delivers the same mechanical reliability as heavier systems — every roller turns at the correct speed regardless of load weight — but in a platform sized and priced for medium duty applications.

Roll-to-Roll Chain Drive

The Model 519 uses a #40 roll-to-roll chain drive system where each roller is connected to the next through sprockets and chain. This provides consistent positive drive across the full length of the conveyor. Unlike belt driven systems where slippage can occur under heavier loads, the chain drive mechanically locks each roller to the drive, ensuring reliable transport of medium duty products.

Titan Conveyor System Integration

The Model 519 integrates with Titan’s full line of conveyor accessories and ancillary equipment, including pop-up chain transfers, belt transfers, pneumatic pin stops, pop-up stops, pallet lifts, pallet centering devices, fixed and adjustable side rails, skatewheel side rails, walkway plates, and emergency stop controls. Drive locations can be configured as bottom mount, top mount, or side mount to fit the installation requirements. Optional rollers set low configuration is also available.

Optional Configurations

The Model 519 can be configured with galvanized or stainless steel construction, coated rollers (urethane, accumulation, or Kevlar sleeves), square rollers, stainless rollers, structural 6 in. x 8.2# channel supports, C-face brake motor, VFD control, ceiling hangers, plexiglass chain guards, expanded metal guard covers, work tables, and custom paint colors.

Applications

The Model 519 is specified for box and carton transport in packaging and fulfillment operations, light weight pallet handling in manufacturing, drum transport at medium loads, tote and container movement between workstations, and any application where positive chain drive is needed but the load does not require a heavy duty CDLR platform.

Selection Assistance from Barron Equipment

Choosing between the Titan 519 and heavier CDLR models depends on load weight per roller, product type, and system integration requirements. Barron Equipment’s conveyor specialists help evaluate the application and specify the right model for long-term performance.

FAQs

What is the difference between the Titan 519 and a heavy duty CDLR?

The Titan 519 uses 1.9 in. dia. x 16 ga. rollers with #40 chain and a formed 10 ga. frame, rated at 250 lbs. per roller. Heavy duty CDLR models use larger rollers (2.5 in. or 3.5 in.), heavier chain (#60), structural channel frames, and support loads up to 1,000–2,000 lbs. per linear foot. The 519 is the right choice when loads stay within its medium duty capacity range.

Can the Titan 519 be used with chain transfers and pallet stops?

Yes. The 519 integrates with Titan pop-up chain transfers, belt transfers, pneumatic pin stops, pallet lifts, and pallet centering devices designed for Titan roller conveyor systems.

Does Barron Equipment install Titan conveyor systems?

Yes. Barron provides system design, installation, and service for Titan conveyor products across Iowa and the Midwest.
