Overview
This kingpinless swivel caster has a phenolic caster wheel with a diameter of 4 inches and is ideal for heavy duty industrial applications. This swivel caster has more benefits and better overall ergonomics than the standard industrial caster.
Benefits
The main benefit of the kingpinless series casters is that they eliminate the use of the kingpin which allows for longer use, better ergonomics and more efficiency. In addition to benefits of the overall kingpinless caster category, phenolic wheels have their own benefits, such as being resistant to oil, grease, gasoline and mild acids.
This phenolic caster wheel also has a ball bearing as opposed to a roller bearing, hence the "B" at the end of the Item ID in "PHB." Ball bearings have the advantage of handling high speed applications that are typically maintenance free, allowing for increased efficiencies and cost savings.
