Overview
The Advance Lifts P-2536 is a heavy duty single scissor lift table built for a wide range of manufacturing applications. With a 2,500 lb load capacity and 36 inches of vertical travel, this hydraulic lift table raises loads from a lowered height of just 6.5 inches to a full raised height of 42.5 inches. The result is a reliable material handling solution that brings the work to the operator rather than forcing workers to bend, reach, or strain at awkward heights.
Manufactured by Advance Lifts in their ISO 9001:2015 certified facility in St. Charles, Illinois, the P-2536 is part of the P-Series — a line designed to handle end loads and side loads up to 2,500 lbs each. Platform sizes range from a standard 24 x 48 inches up to a maximum of 48 x 72 inches, giving you room to match the table to your specific workflow. A 2 HP internal motor drives the hydraulic power unit, cycling the platform to full height in approximately 13 seconds.

Features and Benefits
What separates the P-2536 from comparable lift tables on the market is a set of engineering decisions that directly affect how long the equipment lasts and how little maintenance it demands over its service life.
The patented Platform Centering Devices keep the platform square under uneven or off-center loads. Side loading and eccentric pallets gradually rack a standard scissor assembly at the leg pivots — the most common failure point. These centering devices counteract that wear pattern, and Advance Lifts states this feature doubles or triples the operational life of each unit.
Every controller is a UL-listed assembly, built in Advance Lifts’ own electrical panel shop rather than sourced from a third party. This means the hydraulic system and the electrical controls are engineered together under one roof, which reduces troubleshooting time and simplifies replacement if a panel ever needs service.
The cylinders are machine grade with clear plastic return lines for easy visual inspection. All pressure hoses use double wire braid construction with JIC fittings — an industry-preferred connection standard that resists vibration loosening. Mild steel reservoirs and a fully primed baked enamel finish protect against corrosion in demanding plant environments. The entire unit conforms to all applicable ANSI codes.
Backing all of this is a 10-year, 250,000-cycle structural warranty — one of the longest standard warranties available on a production scissor lift table.
Manufacturing Applications for This Industrial Lift Table
The P-2536 fits into a broad set of manufacturing and material handling workflows where positioning loads at an ergonomic working height reduces cycle time and injury risk. Common applications include assembly line work stations where operators need parts presented at a consistent height, packaging and palletizing stations where load and unload tasks happen repeatedly, and die or tooling changeover setups where heavy components need to be raised and lowered with precision.
Because the platform accepts both end loading and side loading at full capacity, this lift table also works well in environments where loads arrive from different directions — pallet jack access from one side, manual loading from another. The low 6.5-inch lowered height makes the table accessible for floor-level loading without the need for a pit installation, while the 42.5-inch raised height aligns with standard workbench and conveyor heights across most facilities.
Choosing the Right Lift Table for Your Operation
Selecting the correct industrial hydraulic lift table starts with three numbers: the weight of the load, the vertical travel your process requires, and the platform size that fits your station. The P-2536 covers loads up to 2,500 lbs with 36 inches of travel and platform options from 24 x 48 up to 48 x 72 inches.
If your application demands higher capacity at the same travel distance, the P-Series also includes 4,000 lb, 6,000 lb, and 8,000 lb models in the 36-inch travel range. For greater vertical travel — 48, 60, or 72 inches — wider and longer P-Series configurations are available. Need higher cycle counts? Ask Barron about the HC Series (1,000,000 cycles) or UHC Series (3,000,000 cycles).
