Slim-line brush seals from Action Industries deliver the same polypropylene bristle performance as their standard and large counterparts but in a narrower profile designed for thin door edges and tight-tolerance gaps. Each seal is built with dense polypropylene filaments wrapped around a metal rod and crimped into a compact spine that fits any slim-line aluminum retainer in the Action Industries lineup.
Available in five bristle widths from 1/2 inch to 2 inches and standard lengths of 6 to 10 feet, these seals close gaps along door sides and tops where standard-channel seals are too bulky. Note that most customers order seals for all four sides of the door opening.
Freeze-Proof Bristles for Year-Round Sealing
Polypropylene filaments set these seals apart from rubber and vinyl alternatives in cold or wet environments. The bristles do not absorb water and will not freeze — even in sub-zero conditions. - 1-1/2" Bristle (B2769): Handles moderate gaps where door panels have shifted or frames are slightly uneven.
- 2" Bristle (B2771): The widest slim-line option for larger gaps that still fall within thin door retainer sizing.
