These air spring actuated lift tables connect directly to your existing shop air supply and are ready to operate — no power unit, no motor, no wiring. For operations where electrical infrastructure is limited or where eliminating hydraulic fluid is a priority, the AT-Series provides a practical alternative that still delivers the durability and cycle life Advance Lifts is known for.
The AT-Series is available in single, double-wide, and double-long configurations with capacities ranging from 1,000 to 16,000 lbs. All models provide 24 inches of vertical travel and share the same core construction features found across the Advance Lifts product line, including the patented Platform Centering Device, ANSI code compliance, and a fully primed baked enamel finish.
Features and Benefits
The primary advantage of an air spring actuated lift table is simplicity. There are no hydraulic cylinders to maintain, no fluid to monitor or replace, and no electrical components to wire or service. The unit hooks up to your shop air line and is ready to use. This eliminates a significant source of maintenance cost and downtime that comes with hydraulic systems — particularly the risk of hydraulic leaks in clean or food-grade environments.
The air springs themselves carry a lifetime warranty from Advance Lifts, reflecting their long-term reliability. Every AT-Series unit also includes the patented Platform Centering Device, which keeps the scissor mechanism aligned under load and has been proven to double or triple the structural life of the table. All units are fully primed and finished with baked enamel for corrosion resistance, and all conform to applicable ANSI codes. The overall structural warranty is 10 years or 250,000 cycles.
It is worth noting that air spring actuated lift tables do have some springiness at intermediate positions between full up and full down. If rigid positioning at a specific intermediate height is critical for your application, Advance Lifts offers a hydraulic lift with an air motor as an alternative — this gives you the convenience of air-powered operation with the rock-solid positioning of hydraulic cylinders. Available Configurations
The AT-Series is offered in three platform families to accommodate different load sizes and capacity requirements:
- Single (AT, ATEW, ATVW): 1,000–8,000 lb capacity, 24″ travel, standard platforms from 24″ x 48″ to 48″ x 48″ with optional oversized platforms up to 72″ x 72″. Standard, extra-wide, and very-wide baseframes provide flexibility for different loading methods.
- Double Long: 2,000–16,000 lb capacity, 24″ travel, platforms from 24″ x 96″ to 72″ x 144″ for handling extended materials and oversized loads.
- Double Wide: 2,000–16,000 lb capacity, 24″ travel, platforms from 48″ x 48″ to 144″ x 72″ for wide loads and side-loading operations.
A standard 2% capacity deduction per inch applies for platforms longer or wider than the minimum size listed for each model. Custom configurations are available — contact Barron Equipment for details.
Applications
AT-Series air operated lift tables are commonly used in facilities where clean, oil-free operation is important — such as food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, cleanroom environments, and packaging operations. They are also a strong fit for smaller shops or satellite facilities where electrical infrastructure is limited but compressed air is readily available.
Because there are no electrical components, these lift tables can be placed anywhere in a facility without concern for proximity to power drops or conduit runs. This makes them especially useful as portable or semi-permanent workstations that may need to be relocated as production layouts change.
