Overview
Barron Equipment offers the Advance Lifts HC and UHC Series for production environments where lift tables operate continuously in automated lines and accumulate hundreds of thousands of cycles per year. Standard P-Series and HD-Series lift tables are built for 250,000 cycles over their warranty period — but automated machine feeding, robotic cell integration, and high-speed offloading applications can reach that number in a fraction of the expected lifespan. The HC and UHC Series are purpose-built for this reality.
HC models start with lift speeds twice as fast as standard P-Series units and are warranted for 1,000,000 cycles. UHC models push further — approaching speeds of 40 feet per minute and carrying a 3,000,000 cycle warranty. Both series feature enhanced hydraulic components, smart electronic controls, and continuous-duty power systems designed for the demands of automated, multi-shift production.
Features and Benefits
Every HC and UHC lift table is built around a set of features specifically chosen for high-speed, high-repetition environments. Soft start-stop operation protects both the load and the scissor mechanism during rapid cycling, reducing impact forces that would shorten the life of a standard unit. UL-listed electrical controllers with smart relays enable precise cycle sequencing and integration with upstream and downstream automation. A custom-designed valve block provides cylinder isolation and multi-speed operation, allowing the lift to decelerate smoothly as it approaches the target position.
Continuous-running power units with oil filtration are standard — essential for applications where the lift operates hundreds or thousands of cycles per shift without extended rest periods. Machine-grade single-acting cylinders with flooded rods provide the durability and consistency needed for millions of operational cycles. Double wire braid hoses with JIC fittings, mild steel reservoirs, and the patented Platform Centering Device round out a construction package designed for the longest possible service life under sustained high-cycle operation.
The combination of the smart relay, a linear displacement transducer, and the variable speed valve block also makes it possible to satisfy special positioning requirements — such as precise height indexing between stations — at little or no additional cost. When requesting a quote, be sure to communicate any positioning, speed, or integration requirements so Advance Lifts can configure the controls accordingly.
Available Models
Standard HC models cover the most common automated feeding and offloading applications:
- HC-2518: 2,500 lb capacity, 18″ travel, standard platform 36″ x 36″ (optional up to 48″ x 48″)
- HC-4018: 4,000 lb capacity, 18″ travel, standard platform 36″ x 36″ (optional up to 48″ x 48″)
- HC-2531: 2,500 lb capacity, 31″ travel, standard platform 36″ x 48″ (optional up to 48″ x 60″)
- HC-4031: 4,000 lb capacity, 31″ travel, standard platform 36″ x 48″ (optional up to 48″ x 60″)
Platform sizes and travels beyond those listed are available on a custom basis. Power units for higher speeds will be quoted to meet specific customer requirements, and very high cycle applications may require oil coolers — Advance Lifts will recommend the appropriate configuration based on your duty cycle.
Applications
High cycle lift tables are the right choice wherever loads need to be moved quickly, precisely, and with consistent repeatability across millions of cycles. Common applications include automated machine feeding and offloading stations, robotic work cell integration, inline conveyor transfer points, automated packaging lines, and any production process where the lift table is part of a synchronized automated system rather than an operator-controlled manual station.
Because HC and UHC units are designed for integration into automated lines, they often include PLC-compatible controls, proximity sensors, and other interface components that allow the lift to communicate with upstream and downstream equipment. Barron Equipment can coordinate these requirements directly with Advance Lifts’ engineering team during the quoting process.
Request a Quote
The Advance Lifts HC and UHC Series is available through authorized distributors. Because these units are typically integrated into automated systems, the quoting process includes a detailed review of your cycle requirements, speed targets, positioning needs, and control integration specifications.
