Barron Equipment offers the Advance Lifts HD-Series for facilities that need heavy duty hydraulic lift tables with capacities well beyond standard production models. Where the P-Series tops out at 8,000 lbs, the HD-Series picks up — handling loads from 8,000 to 12,000 lbs in single-scissors configurations and up to 24,000 lbs in double-long setups. These industrial hydraulic scissor lift platforms are purpose-built for the most demanding material handling environments, where heavy loads, oversized materials, and continuous operation are part of everyday workflow.
With vertical travel ranging from 24 to 60 inches and platform sizes from 30″ x 48″ to 78″ x 194″, the HD-Series accommodates a wide range of load dimensions and working height requirements. All models are powered by 5 HP motors and delivered with a baked enamel finish, ready for immediate deployment on the production floor.
Features and Benefits
Like every Advance Lifts product, the HD-Series is engineered around the principle of lowest cost per cycle. Each unit includes the patented Platform Centering Device, which keeps the scissor mechanism aligned under heavy loads and has been proven to double or triple the working life of the table. This is especially important in high-capacity applications, where the stresses on structural components are significantly greater than in lighter-duty models.
All HD-Series controllers are Underwriter Laboratory (UL) listed, and every unit conforms to applicable ANSI safety codes. Machine-grade cylinders provide reliable, consistent performance under the most punishing loads. Pressure hoses are double wire braid with JIC fittings, and the mild steel reservoirs are built to withstand years of continuous operation. The fully primed baked enamel finish resists corrosion across a range of industrial environments.
Advance Lifts backs the HD-Series with the same warranty structure available across their product line. The standard warranty includes 1 year of parts and labor plus 10 years or 250,000 cycles of structural coverage. Facilities running high-cycle operations can upgrade to HC-Series coverage at 1,000,000 cycles or UHC-Series coverage at 3,000,000 cycles — a level of transparent, cycle-based protection that reflects actual usage.
Available Configurations
The HD-Series is offered in three platform families, each designed for a different class of heavy duty application:
- Single Scissors (HD, HDEW, HDVW): 8,000–12,000 lb capacity, 24″–60″ travel, standard platforms from 30″ x 48″ to 54″ x 84″ with optional oversized platforms up to 78″ x 114″. Standard (HD), extra wide (HDEW), and very wide (HDVW) baseframes provide flexibility for different loading methods and floor layouts.
- Double Wide: 12,800–16,000 lb capacity, 24″–60″ travel, platforms from 60″ x 48″ to 132″ x 114″ for side-loading operations and oversized loads that exceed single-frame widths.
- Double Long: 16,000–24,000 lb capacity, 24″–60″ travel, platforms from 30″ x 98″ to 78″ x 194″ for handling extended or heavy materials such as steel plate, large dies, and long assemblies.
Custom configurations are also available. If a standard or combined unit does not meet your specific requirements, Advance Lifts will engineer a custom-design solution to match your application.
Applications
HD-Series lift tables are found in industries where load capacity and platform size push beyond what standard production lift tables can handle.
