Overview
Barron Equipment offers the Advance Lifts Super Duty (SD) and Jumbo (JSL) Series for operations that have outgrown standard and heavy duty lift tables. When your loads measure in the tens of thousands of pounds and your platforms need to span dozens of feet, these are the hydraulic scissor lift platforms built to handle the job. The SD and JSL Series represent the top of the Advance Lifts capacity range — from 5,000 lbs in the single-long configuration up to 60,000 lbs in the largest jumbo models — with platforms that can extend beyond 60 feet in length.
These are not off-the-shelf products. Every Super Duty and Jumbo lift table is engineered around the specific demands of the application, and Advance Lifts routinely modifies standard configurations to meet exact requirements for capacity, platform size, vertical travel, and installation conditions. If your facility handles oversized steel, heavy equipment, large assemblies, or industrial-scale materials that no standard lift table can accommodate, this is the series to consider.
Features and Benefits
The SD and JSL Series share the same commitment to durability and lowest cost per cycle that defines every Advance Lifts product. Machine-grade cylinders deliver smooth, reliable performance under extreme loads. Pressure hoses are double wire braid with JIC fittings, and all controllers are Underwriter Laboratory (UL) listed assemblies. Every unit is fully primed and finished with baked enamel for corrosion resistance, and all conform to applicable ANSI safety codes.
Because of the extreme capacities and platform sizes involved, the Super Duty and Jumbo Series carry an enhanced warranty: 2 years of parts and labor coverage plus a 10-year structural warranty. This extended parts-and-labor term reflects the complexity and critical nature of these installations, ensuring Advance Lifts stands behind the unit throughout the commissioning and initial operating period.
Available Configurations
The SD and JSL Series is offered in three platform families, each designed for a different scale of application:
- Single Long (SD): 5,000–20,000 lb capacity, 24″–58″ travel, platforms from 6′ x 8′ to 8′ x 12′. Suited for die changeover, heavy equipment positioning, and oversized load handling.
- Double Long (SD): 10,000–30,000 lb capacity, 24″–58″ travel, platforms from 4′ x 16′ to 8′ x 24′. Designed for extended materials such as structural steel, long assemblies, and multi-pallet loads.
- Jumbo (JSL): 6,000–60,000 lb capacity, 58″–99″ travel, platforms from 9′ x 12′ to 8′-6″ x 60′. The largest standard scissor lift platforms available from Advance Lifts, built for industrial-scale applications that require extreme platform area and vertical travel.
All configurations can be modified to meet exact specifications. If a standard model does not match your requirements for capacity, platform dimensions, lowered height, or raised height, Advance Lifts will engineer a custom solution.
Applications
Super Duty and Jumbo lift tables are found in the heaviest segments of industrial manufacturing and material handling. Common applications include steel service centers handling plate and structural members, heavy equipment assembly plants, shipbuilding and marine fabrication, aerospace component positioning, large die and mold handling, and bridge or infrastructure fabrication shops where workpieces routinely exceed the capacity and platform size of standard lift tables.
The Jumbo Series in particular serves applications where vertical travel of several feet and platforms spanning tens of feet are essential — such as rail car maintenance, heavy vehicle assembly, and large-format manufacturing where workers need to access multiple sides of an oversized workpiece at ergonomic working heights.
