ANVER Battery Powered Vacuum Lifter

The ANVER Battery Powered Vacuum Lifter brings cordless vacuum lifting to applications where AC power is not available below the hook. Powered by a rechargeable 12V DC battery, this self-contained Vac-Pack system handles non-porous loads up to 4,400 lbs. with radio or pendant controls. Charge with standard 115V AC. Made in the USA.

Overview

Barron Equipment carries the ANVER Battery Powered Vacuum Lifter — a self-contained, cordless vacuum lifting system designed for applications where AC electrical power is not available below the hook. Powered by a heavy duty rechargeable 12 volt DC battery, this vacuum lifter delivers the same performance as ANVER’s standard electric models without trailing power cords, extension cables, or festooned electrical systems on the crane.

The battery powered Vac-Pack mounts directly to hundreds of ANVER pad attachments and lifting frames, giving facilities a portable, truly cordless vacuum lifting solution for outdoor jobsites, mobile crane operations, remote warehouse areas, and any overhead lifting point where running AC power to the hook is impractical or cost-prohibitive.

How the Self-Cycling Operation Works

ANVER’s battery powered vacuum lifter features an electric self-cycling operation that automates the entire attach-and-release process. When the unit is lowered onto a load and the suspension chain slackens, the full weight of the lifter rests on the material and an internal switch automatically starts the vacuum attachment process. Once the proper vacuum level is achieved, a green indicator light illuminates to confirm it is safe to lift.

When the operator is ready to release the load, lowering the unit until the chain goes slack again triggers the automatic release process. Once vacuum is fully released, the operator raises the unit with the hoist controls and the system is ready for the next cycle. This hands-free attach-and-release workflow speeds up cycle times and reduces operator decision-making during repetitive lifts.

Features and Benefits

The ANVER battery powered Vac-Pack vacuum generator is built for demanding industrial use with a focus on uptime, safety, and zero-downtime battery management. Key features include:

  • Rechargeable 12V DC, 12 amp hour sealed AGM battery — provides full 8-hour shift operation in many applications
  • Two interchangeable, plug-in control styles: radio controlled (3-button attach/release/interlock transmitter) or pendant controlled (2-button attach/release with 10 ft. coiled cord)
  • Solid-state vacuum control module combining all vacuum pump functions, safety lights, and audible vacuum leakage warning system in one rugged unit
  • Energy saver technology — vacuum-controlled switch shuts off the pump when the pre-set vacuum level is reached, reducing wear and extending battery life
  • Vacuum check valve and reservoir to maintain vacuum if power is interrupted for safe handling of non-porous loads
  • Digital vacuum gauges mounted on the front cover for continuous operator monitoring
  • Battery charge level gauge with hour meter
  • Ergonomic adjustable front handlebar for safe load maneuvering without touching the load
  • Easily accessible dual high-capacity vacuum filters mounted on the front handlebar for routine inspection
  • Quick-disconnect fittings for easy maintenance and component replacement
  • Standard frame rated to 2,200 lbs. on 3×3 beams; heavy duty frame rated to 4,400 lbs. on 3×6 beams

Battery Management and Zero Downtime

ANVER recommends purchasing a spare battery and charger with every battery powered vacuum lifter. While one battery powers the lifter on the production floor, the spare charges on standard 115V AC power using the available smart charger. Swapping batteries takes minutes, ensuring the vacuum lifter stays in service through an entire shift without waiting for a recharge. The plug-in battery design makes field replacement straightforward with no special tools required.

Applications

The battery powered vacuum lifter is the right choice whenever AC power is not readily accessible at the lifting point. Common applications include outdoor construction and jobsite material handling where permanent electrical infrastructure does not exist, mobile crane operations that move between locations, warehouse areas serviced by jib cranes without festooned power, loading docks and staging areas away from electrical panels, and any facility where the cost of running electrical service to the crane hook exceeds the cost of battery power.

This Vac-Pack generator mounts to the same pad attachments and lifting frames used by ANVER’s AC-powered models. Facilities that already use ANVER electric vacuum lifters can add a battery powered unit to their fleet and share the same pads, beams, and frames across both systems.

Selection Assistance

Configuring a battery powered vacuum lifter starts with the same application evaluation as any ANVER system — define the material, weight, dimensions, and surface type. Barron Equipment’s team then helps select the right Vac-Pack generator frame (standard or heavy duty), control style (radio or pendant), and pad configuration for your application.

For applications where AC power is available and preferred, Barron carries the full ANVER electric powered vacuum lifter line as well as the Caldwell UNIVAC product family. Our team can help determine whether battery, electric, air-powered, or mechanical vacuum lifting is the best fit.

FAQs

What is the lifting capacity of the battery powered vacuum lifter?

The standard frame configuration is rated to 2,200 lbs. on 3x3 beams. The heavy duty frame is rated to 4,400 lbs. on 3x6 beams. Actual load capacity depends on the pad configuration and material surface.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?

The 12V, 12 amp hour AGM battery provides full 8-hour shift operation in many applications. Actual runtime depends on cycle frequency and load weight. ANVER recommends purchasing a spare battery for zero-downtime operation.

What control options are available?

Two plug-in, interchangeable control styles are available: a radio controlled system with a 3-button attach/release/interlock transmitter, or a pendant controlled system with a 2-button attach/release pendant on a 10 ft. coiled cord. Both styles are plug-in and can be swapped in the field.

Can this lifter use the same pads and frames as ANVER electric models?

Yes. The battery powered Vac-Pack mounts to the same pad attachments and lifting frames used by ANVER's AC-powered electric vacuum generators. Facilities can share pads and frames across both battery and electric systems.

What happens if the battery runs out during a lift?

A vacuum check valve and reservoir built into the system maintain vacuum if power is interrupted, allowing the load to be safely lowered. An audible vacuum leakage warning system also alerts the operator if vacuum levels drop during operation.
