Overview

Bistro tables and high tops are the hardest furniture to move by hand. The pedestal base is heavy, the round top is awkward to grip, and the height makes them top-heavy when tilted. This bistro table mover eliminates the struggle by sliding an adjustable fork under the table base, lifting it off the floor, and rolling it on two 8″ rubber wheels to the new location. One person handles what previously required two — or what previously meant dragging furniture across the floor.

Built on the same proven platform as the Raymond Student Desk Mover, the Model 720 is upgraded for hospitality environments with a higher lift range (7½” to 44″), a wider 30″ nose bar to accommodate bistro table bases, and a chrome-plated handle for a professional appearance in front-of-house settings. The non-skid bonded vinyl fork protects table base finishes during transport. Load capacity: 200 lbs. Weighs 29 lbs. Ships UPS. Every unit is manufactured by Raymond Products in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a lifetime warranty.

Features and Benefits

The 44″ maximum lift height is what separates this bistro table mover from the standard Model 700. Pub-height and bar-height bistro tables have taller pedestal bases that require more fork clearance to lift off the floor. The extra 6″ of lift range (compared to the 700’s 38″ max) accommodates the full range of standard-height café tables through 42″ bar-height high tops. Fingertip control locks the fork at any position along the full 7½” to 44″ range.

The 30″ nose bar width provides stable balance for round bistro table bases, which are typically wider than student desk legs. The chrome-plated handle adds a professional touch for hospitality environments where equipment is visible to guests — restaurants, hotel lobbies, convention centers, and rooftop venues. The non-skid bonded vinyl fork coating grips the table base without scratching powder-coated, painted, or chrome pedestal finishes.

The 9″-wide fork with 13½” extension slides under most standard bistro, café, and cocktail table bases. Constructed from rugged steel and malleable castings with a powder-coated base, this mover handles the daily demands of high-turnover hospitality environments.

Applications

Restaurants and bars are the primary users. Rearranging bistro table layouts for different party sizes, clearing the floor for private events, and repositioning high tops for seasonal patio configurations all require moving individual tables quickly. This bistro table mover makes each of those moves a one-person task.

Event venues and banquet halls use it for cocktail-hour setup and teardown — positioning high tops across a ballroom or terrace before guests arrive, then clearing them for dinner seating or dancing. Hotel banquet staff use it between back-to-back events when turnaround time is tight. Convention centers use it for exhibitor lounges and networking areas.

Beyond bistro tables, this mover also handles standard café tables, stacked chairs, school desks, and compact utility tables — anything that fits within the 9″ fork width and 200 lb capacity. Churches and community centers with both bistro tables and classroom-style furniture can use one tool for all of it.

Selection Assistance

Choose the Model 720 when you primarily move bistro tables, high tops, or café tables with taller pedestal bases. The 44″ lift range and 30″ nose bar are sized specifically for hospitality furniture.

If you primarily move student desks and low-profile classroom furniture (and don’t need the extra lift height or wider nose bar), the Model 700 Student Desk Mover provides the same 200 lb capacity at a lower price point with a 38″ max lift and 26″ nose bar.

For full-size office desks with knee holes, the Mighty King desk lift series (Models 2000–4000) provides 600 lb capacity. For moving tables without lifting them — like rolling folded tables on edge — the Table Toter series handles rectangular folded tables.

FAQs

What types of tables does the Model 720 move?

Bistro tables, high tops, café tables, cocktail tables, pub tables, and any pedestal-base table up to 200 lbs. It also handles stacked chairs, school desks, and compact utility tables.

How is this different from the Model 700 Student Desk Mover?

Same mechanism, upgraded for hospitality. The 720 has a higher lift range (44" vs 38"), a wider nose bar (30" vs 26") for bistro table bases, and a chrome-plated handle for a professional appearance. The 700 is designed for classroom furniture; the 720 is designed for restaurants and event venues.

Can one person move a heavy bistro table with this?

Yes. Slide the fork under the table base, lift with the fingertip control, and roll on the 8" rubber wheels. The 200 lb capacity covers most standard bistro and high-top tables.

Will the fork scratch my table base?

No. The fork is coated in non-skid bonded vinyl that grips without scratching. This protects powder-coated, painted, and chrome pedestal finishes.

Is this made in the USA?

Yes. Manufactured by Raymond Products in Minneapolis, Minnesota since 1958. Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
