Overview
The SL-10000 and SL-15000 models from the Gold Line are designed for loading and unloading trucks with hand carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and small forklifts. Every unit is custom-built to fit your facility's specific layout and requirements, and can be configured to move loads from truck to ground, truck to dock, dock to ground, or truck to a raised platform. This dock lift is heavy-duty, free-standing, self-contained, and surface-mounted. It requires only a solid surface and a power connection — no pit, no building permit, and no costly site construction. It can be used as your dock, up to a dock, or behind a dock wall. It handles truck impacts and requires no pit or external protection. Both models move loads between standard dock height (44.5"–58") and ground level at 33 FPM, reaching truck height in only 8 seconds. That is approximately three times faster than a standard scissor lift, and faster still than larger dock lift configurations. All units are made in the USA using proven commercial components and are designed to operate for more than 30 years with routine maintenance.
Features and Benefits
The Forklift Pro Speed-Lift uses a cantilever hydraulic lift with variable speed control, delivering smooth and consistent movement during both ascent and descent. The control handle is positioned vertically so the forklift operator can reach it while seated, eliminating the need to dismount during loading and unloading operations.Both the SL-10000 and SL-15000 carry a full-load rating across the entire platform surface, with matching axle capacity on all ends and sides — no reduction for off-center or uneven loads. At just 4" off the ground when lowered, powered pallet jacks and small forklifts can drive directly onto the platform without any approach ramp.All models include patented Automatic Folding Ramps or Safety Bars in place of safety chains. This removes the need for workers to reposition around loads to raise or lower ramps manually, significantly reducing the risk of finger injuries.
The steel frame and hinged ramps provide 360-degree toe and foot protection around the entire unit, and the platform, ramp, and bridge are all non-skid diamond plate.All electrical control boxes are UL approved and all units conform to ANSI MH29.1 specifications. The mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems are self-contained within the frame — no separate control unit is required. The closed hydraulic control system requires only a routine check of the oil level and normally does not require any oil changes. Routine maintenance consists of regular lubrication of all bearings plus visual inspection of wiring and hydraulic lines.Integrated wheels add maneuverability if the unit needs to be relocated after installation.Preventative maintenance contracts are also available, providing two scheduled service visits per year.

Selection Assistance
The SL-10000 and SL-15000 both cover the same platform sizes and travel at the same speed, so the right choice depends primarily on your load weight. If loads consistently reach or exceed 10,000 lbs but stay below 15,000 lbs, the SL-10000 provides the appropriate capacity. If loads regularly approach or reach 15,000 lbs, the SL-15000 is the appropriate selection — it uses a 20 HP motor to maintain the same speed performance at the higher load rating.
For operations handling loads above 15,000 lbs or requiring a large seated forklift, the SL-25000 Speed-Lift is available at a higher capacity.
