Both kits are available in 3-foot and 4-foot lengths and can be field-trimmed with a hacksaw for a precise fit. Retainer finish options include mill aluminum, brown, and white to coordinate with your door frame.
How to Install the Brush Sweep Kit
Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools beyond a screwdriver and, if trimming is needed, a hacksaw. Position the aluminum retainer along the bottom edge of the door so the brush bristles make contact with the floor or threshold without preventing the door from closing and latching. Align the pre-punched screw holes with the door face, then fasten the retainer using the included screws. Confirm the bristles compress slightly when the door is closed. If the retainer or brush is longer than the door width, trim both to length with a hacksaw before mounting.
