Overview
For a heavy-duty, premium quality loading dock that provides unmatched productivity and safety, look no further than the PR Series hydraulic dock leveler by Poweramp®. The PR Series is completely hydraulic in both engineering and operation. That means no chains to pull, no decks to walk down — just a single push-button activation that raises the platform and extends the lip automatically, every time.
PR levelers feature a patented fluid logic block system that provides unparalleled leveler control and stability. Improved safety, superior design, and low-maintenance costs make the PR Series the finest hydraulic dock leveler in the industry.
Whether you're running a high-volume distribution center, a food and beverage facility, a pharmaceutical operation, or heavy-duty manufacturing, the PR Series is purpose-built to handle demanding schedules and heavy loads — day in, day out. Standard capacities for the PR Series are 30K, 35K, 40K, 45K, 50K, 60K, 80K, and 120K CIR (Comparative Industry Rating).
Barron Equipment is a proud authorized Poweramp dealer. Our team of experienced technicians installs and services PR Series levelers across the region and is available for preventive maintenance, emergency repair, and new installations.
Features and Benefits
The PR Series is built around a patented fluid logic block system that mechanically controls hydraulic fluid flow; far more reliable than standard coil and shuttle valve designs. Free fall protection is delivered through an in-line velocity fuse built directly into the main hoist cylinder that can never be removed. The deck-mounted pump and motor keeps the unit clear of pit debris, while a maintenance check plate in the deck allows fluid level checks and adjustments from above dock with the overhead door closed — saving time and labor on every service visit.
The recessing lip cylinder eliminates unnecessary seal wear as the platform moves with the trailer during loading and unloading, and full-width folding and locking toe guards are included as standard; significantly stronger than sliding-style alternatives. Every unit is manufactured in compliance with OSHA and ANSI MH 30.1, and the PR Series is available with iDock Controls and myQ Dock Management integration for real-time visibility into leveler activity and maintenance history.

Applications
The Poweramp PR Series is engineered for high-demand environments where reliability, heavy load capacity, and long-term durability aren't optional — they're required. With standard capacities ranging from 30K to 120K CIR and sizes from 6' x 6' to 7' x 12', the PR Series is built to handle the rigors of virtually any pit-style dock application.
Facilities that rely on the PR Series include:
- Warehousing & Distribution Centers — High-cycle environments that require consistent, low-maintenance performance across multiple dock positions
- Food & Beverage Manufacturing — Operations that demand equipment meeting strict safety and sanitation standards, with the CleanSweep frame design supporting cleaner pit environments
- Pharmaceutical & Cold Storage — Facilities requiring dependable operation in temperature-sensitive or controlled-environment conditions
- Logistics & Transportation Hubs — Docks handling frequent, mixed-fleet trailer traffic across a wide range of bed heights
- Heavy Manufacturing & Auto Parts — High-capacity applications requiring 80K or 120K CIR ratings and structural steel construction
- Large-Scale Retail Distribution — Volume-driven facilities where dock uptime directly impacts fulfillment throughput
