The robotically welded steel platform is powder-coated for corrosion resistance and coated with anti-skid polyvinyl to grip loads and protect surfaces. A removable push handle provides steering control during transport and lifts out for flat storage when space is limited. Two caster configurations — fixed/swivel and all-swivel — let you match this heavy duty platform truck to your facility’s transport routes. Features and Benefits
The platform deck is constructed from steel and reinforced with 12-gauge internal steel ribs. This rib-reinforced design distributes heavy loads evenly across the full deck surface and prevents flexing under maximum capacity. The robotic welding process ensures consistent joint strength across every unit — a level of manufacturing precision that stamped or spot-welded alternatives cannot match.
The deck surface is coated with red anti-skid polyvinyl, which serves as both a load grip and a protective cushion. Items placed on the deck stay in position during transport, and the vinyl layer prevents scratches and surface damage to the materials being moved. The powder-coated steel base resists chips, corrosion, and the daily wear of industrial and commercial environments.
The 5″ x 2″ phenolic casters are designed for hard, smooth floors including concrete, industrial tile, and polished surfaces. Phenolic wheels resist oil, grease, and mild chemicals, making them durable enough for warehouse receiving docks, manufacturing floors, and maintenance corridors. A removable push handle extends 31¼” above the deck for comfortable steering control, and a retaining end (31¾” high) helps keep loads from sliding off the back of the platform during movement. Optional brake kits are available for facilities that need secure stationary positioning during loading and unloading.

The fixed/swivel Model 3950 is the best fit for facilities where most transport runs are straight-line or involve long distances. The all-swivel Model 3954 is better for tight spaces, narrow aisles, and environments where the truck needs to change direction frequently.
