Available in capacities from 2 ton (4,000 lbs) to 5 ton (10,000 lbs) for direct ecommerce purchase, the 511HD is the heavy-duty tier in Barron Equipment's portable gantry crane lineup. At these weight ratings, the crane is engineered with forged steel heavy-duty casters and can be optionally equipped with motorized movement for high-cycle industrial use.

Heavy-Duty Construction for Industrial Applications
At 2 ton and above, gantry crane design demands more than standard caster hardware. Forged steel heavy-duty swivel casters are used at these capacity ratings, featuring roller bearings for ease of movement and grease fittings for ease of maintenance. Swivel locks and wheel locks are available to stabilize the crane during lifts — critical for safety at these load levels. Motorization is available for the 511HD and is strongly recommended for heavier configurations. At 3 ton and 5 ton capacities, manually repositioning a loaded gantry crane introduces ergonomic risk and throughput limitations. Powered movement supports both operator safety and production efficiency.
