Endura-Veyor Magnetic Slide Conveyor – Submersible Watertight Design

The Endura-Veyor Magnetic Slide Conveyor transports ferrous materials using permanent magnets beneath a 12-gauge stainless steel slider bed—with no external moving parts, no belt to jam, and a completely watertight submersible frame. Ideal for applications where ferrous chips, fines, and small parts must be conveyed through or out of coolant tanks, filtration systems, and submerged environments. Oil-filled UHMW chain guides require no lubrication. Frame widths from 8″ to 18″, incline angles of 30°, 45°, and 60°, and speeds from 25 to 80 FPM. Contact Barron Equipment for a quote.

Submersible Magnetic Conveyor for Coolant-Saturated Environments

Standard chip conveyors—even magnetic ones—aren’t designed to operate while submerged in coolant, water, or cutting fluid. The Endura-Veyor Magnetic Slide Conveyor is. Its watertight 11-gauge steel frame is built to be completely submersible, making it the right choice for applications where the conveyor must sit inside a coolant tank, collection sump, or filtration system and pull ferrous chips and fines out of the liquid rather than just transporting them across a dry surface.

With no external moving parts, the Endura-Veyor eliminates the jamming, wear, and maintenance issues that other conveyor types create in these wet, submerged, and contaminated environments. Material rides on a 12-gauge 304 stainless steel slider bed, held in place and moved forward by ceramic #8 permanent magnets beneath the deck. The internal drive chain runs through oil-filled UHMW guides that require no external lubrication—a critical advantage when the conveyor operates in coolant or water.

How the Magnetic Slide Conveyor Works

Permanent ceramic #8 magnet assemblies are enclosed in stainless steel housings and mounted on 12½” centers beneath the stainless steel slider bed. Optional magnet spacing is available in 1¼” increments for applications requiring tighter or wider coverage. As the internal #50 heavy-duty oversized roller chain moves through the oil-filled UHMW chain guides, it carries the magnet assemblies along the underside of the slider bed. Ferrous material on top of the deck follows the magnetic field, traveling along the stainless steel surface to the discharge point.

An automatic die spring take-up device maintains proper chain tension without manual adjustment—reducing maintenance in environments where access to the conveyor may be limited by tanks, guards, or other equipment. The 1″ tall slide guides on each side of the bed keep material centered during transport.

Specifications

The frame is watertight 11-gauge steel, available in widths of 8″, 10″, 12″, 14″, 16″, and 18″ with a frame height of 4¾”. The slider bed is 12-gauge 304 stainless steel. Standard incline angles include 30°, 45°, and 60°. Drive options include shaft-mounted reducers with 3-phase 230/460V motors at ¼ HP (25 FPM), ½ HP (50 FPM), and ¾ HP (80 FPM), with other speeds available on request.

Magnetic Slide Conveyor vs. NLECO Model 700

Barron Equipment offers two magnetic conveyor products for ferrous scrap. The NLECO Model 700 uses a precision roller hi-radius deck with a self-cleaning discharge head and is designed for dry or lightly coolant-wet applications where chips ride on top of the deck surface. The Endura-Veyor Magnetic Slide Conveyor uses a watertight submersible frame with a stainless steel slider bed and is designed for applications where the conveyor must operate in or through liquid—inside coolant tanks, collection sumps, or filtration systems.

Choose the Model 700 for above-surface magnetic conveying of fine ferrous chips and grinding fines. Choose the Endura-Veyor when the conveyor must be submerged, when the frame must be watertight, or when the application involves collecting ferrous material from inside a liquid environment.

Accessories and Options

The Endura-Veyor supports a wide range of accessories for specialized applications: rigidized slider beds for added durability, lifting lugs for crane installation, discharge chutes, special paint, impact plates, high-temperature chain guides, start/stop controls, leg supports, emergency stops, special incline angles, hoppers and special-height side guides, de-magnetizers for material release at discharge, extra-strength rare earth magnets for finer or lighter material, 110/230V single-phase motor options, coolant recycling tanks and hoppers, and high-temperature oil-filled frames for hot-chip applications.

FAQs

What makes the Endura-Veyor different from other magnetic conveyors?

The Endura-Veyor features a completely watertight submersible frame, no external moving parts, oil-filled UHMW chain guides requiring no lubrication, and 304 stainless steel construction. It is designed to operate while submerged in coolant, water, or cutting fluid—an application most magnetic conveyors cannot handle.

Can the Endura-Veyor be fully submerged?

Yes. The watertight 11-gauge steel frame is designed for complete submersion in water, coolant, or cutting fluid.

What materials can the Endura-Veyor convey?

Ferrous (magnetic) materials only—fine metal chips, grinding fines, small stampings, and sharp-edged parts made from steel, cast iron, and other magnetic metals. Non-ferrous materials cannot be conveyed magnetically.

Are rare earth magnets available?

Yes. Extra-strength rare earth magnets are available as an option for applications requiring stronger holding force for very fine or lightweight ferrous material.

What frame widths are available?

Standard widths include 8", 10", 12", 14", 16", and 18".

Does Barron Equipment install magnetic slide conveyors?

Yes. Barron Equipment provides conveyor planning, installation, and service across Iowa, Illinois, and surrounding states. Contact us for a site evaluation and quote.
