Mobile Robotic Stretch Wrap Machine – Battery Powered – Unlimited Load Capacity

Item ID: SWM-MR-3000 Category

Lead Time: 1 weeks

The Handle It MR-3000 is a mobile robotic stretch wrap machine that brings the wrapper to the load instead of bringing the load to the wrapper. Battery powered with unlimited load capacity, the 3000 Series wraps pallets of any size, shape, or weight — including oversized, irregular, and floor-bound loads that cannot be moved to a stationary machine. With a 250% powered pre-stretch carriage, 98″ wrap height, and 200+ pallets per charge, the MR-3000 delivers flexible, portable wrapping anywhere in your facility. 2-year warranty. Order directly from Barron Equipment.

Overview

The Handle It MR-3000 is a mobile robotic pallet wrapper that eliminates the biggest limitation of every stationary stretch wrap machine: the pallet has to come to the machine. With the 3000 Series, the machine goes to the pallet. The operator positions the MR-3000 next to any load, presses start, and the unit drives around the pallet on its own, wrapping film from bottom to top and back. No turntable. No forklift loading. No size or weight restrictions.

This makes the 3000 Series the most flexible wrapping solution in the Handle It lineup. It handles standard pallets, oversized loads, irregularly shaped products, floor-stored inventory, and anything else that is too heavy, too large, or too awkward to place on a turntable or move through a rotary arm system. The battery-powered chassis wraps 200+ pallets per charge, and the 250% powered pre-stretch carriage reduces film usage by up to 60%. Handle It backs the MR-3000 with a 2-year warranty.

Features and Benefits

The 250% powered pre-stretch carriage delivers the same film efficiency as Handle It’s stationary machines, reducing stretch film consumption significantly compared to hand wrapping. The carriage travels up and down automatically while the mobile chassis circles the load, producing consistent, uniform wraps without operator fatigue or technique variation.

The programmable control panel allows operators to set top wraps, bottom wraps, and wrap cycles for different load types. LED status lights and a battery charge indicator provide quick visual updates on machine status during operation. A stop-at-zero function automatically returns the machine to its starting position when the wrap cycle completes — no need to input a perimeter measurement or guide the machine back manually.

The compact mobile chassis features easy-adjust guide wheels and a small turning radius for maneuverability in tight spaces. A vinyl-padded safety bumper protects both the machine and surrounding equipment during use. The steel hood and housing are built for demanding warehouse and production environments. An onboard storage compartment holds the power cord, and a document holder keeps operating instructions accessible at the machine.

Bring the Wrapper to the Load

Stationary wrappers — whether turntable, rotary arm, or conveyor-fed — all require the pallet to be delivered to a fixed wrapping station. That works well for standard pallets in high-volume production lines. But many facilities also deal with loads that do not fit that model: oversized machinery components staged on the floor, pallets too heavy to lift onto a turntable, irregularly shaped products that cannot be stabilized on a spinning platform, or inventory stored in locations far from the wrapping station.

The MR-3000 wraps all of these loads in place. Roll the machine to wherever the pallet sits, press start, and the wrapper handles the rest. For facilities with multiple wrapping locations spread across a large floor plan, the mobile design eliminates the need for multiple stationary machines or the labor of transporting every pallet to a single wrapping station.

Applications

The 3000 Series is designed for warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics operations that need to wrap loads that stationary machines cannot handle — or that need wrapping flexibility across multiple locations in the facility. Common applications include wrapping oversized or irregularly shaped loads on the warehouse floor, securing floor-stored inventory or staged products before shipping, facilities with multiple wrapping points spread across a large footprint, wrapping heavy machinery, equipment, or pre-cast components that cannot be lifted onto a turntable, and outdoor or covered staging areas where installing a stationary machine is not practical.

The MR-3000 also works well as a complement to a stationary wrapper. Facilities that use a turntable machine for standard pallets can deploy the 3000 Series for the exceptions — the oversized, heavy, or oddly shaped loads that the turntable cannot accommodate.

Selection Assistance

The MR-3000 is the right choice when your facility needs to wrap loads that cannot be moved to a stationary machine, or when you need portable wrapping capability across multiple locations. If any of the following describe your operation, this model is likely the best fit:

You regularly wrap oversized, irregularly shaped, or extremely heavy loads that cannot go on a turntable. Your wrapping needs are spread across multiple areas of a large facility. You need a portable solution that can wrap floor-stored inventory or staged products in place. You want to complement an existing stationary wrapper with a mobile unit for exceptions. You need to wrap in outdoor or covered staging areas without permanent equipment.

If your operation wraps standard-size pallets at a single fixed station and throughput is the priority, a turntable or rotary arm wrapper will be more efficient for that workflow. The 1100 Semi-Auto or 1100AA-C Automatic handles up to 35 loads per hour at a stationary station, and the RA-2300AAC delivers 45+ loads per hour with conveyor integration.

FAQs

How does the MR-3000 know where to drive?

The operator positions the machine next to the pallet, and the MR-3000 drives in a clockwise circle around the load. Adjustable guide wheels help maintain the correct distance from the pallet. The stop-at-zero function automatically returns the machine to its starting position when the wrap cycle is complete.

What surfaces does the MR-3000 work on?

The machine works best on flat, smooth surfaces such as sealed concrete, epoxy, or finished warehouse floors. Uneven surfaces, significant cracks, or debris can affect drive performance and wrap consistency.

How many pallets can it wrap before recharging?

The MR-3000 wraps 200+ pallets per charge under normal operating conditions. Actual count varies by wrap cycle length and load size. Charge time is approximately 8 hours. A lithium-ion battery upgrade is available for faster charging and longer life.

Is there a maximum load size?

No. Because the machine drives around the load rather than spinning it on a fixed platform, there is no size or weight limitation. The standard wrap height is 98″, with an optional extension to 118″ for taller loads.

Can the MR-3000 replace a stationary wrapper?

It depends on your volume and load mix. For facilities that wrap fewer than 50 standard pallets per day and also handle oversized or irregular loads, the MR-3000 can serve as the primary wrapper. For higher-volume operations, it is best used alongside a stationary turntable or rotary arm machine to handle the loads that the stationary unit cannot accommodate.
