Overview
Round folding tables are heavier and more awkward to carry than rectangular ones. The circular top catches on doorframes, the folded legs create an unbalanced grip, and the weight distribution makes one-person carrying impractical for tables 4 feet and larger. The Round Table Toter R1 eliminates the lifting by cradling round tables on edge and rolling them to position on phenolic casters — same one-person, no-lift workflow as the Flagship FS1, but designed specifically for 4-foot and 5-foot round folding tables.
Built on the same all-steel welded frame platform as the Flagship, the R1 features non-skid bonded red vinyl coating with ridged edges to hold round table edges securely during transport. Four 5″ non-marking phenolic casters (two with brakes) provide smooth rolling and stationary locking. The 33″ W x 29″ D footprint accommodates up to 10 round tables at 1,000 lbs safe working load. Weighs 47 lbs. Ships small parcel ground. Every unit is manufactured by Raymond Products in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a lifetime warranty. This unit is not designed for 6-foot tables.
Features and Benefits
The R1’s frame geometry is what distinguishes it from the rectangular Flagship FS1. Where the FS1 cradles rectangular tables standing on their long edge, the R1 is proportioned to hold round table tops on edge without the tables tipping forward or backward. The 23⅜” load area and 33″ frame width are optimized for the diameter and weight distribution of standard 4-foot and 5-foot round folding tables.
The 41″ push handle height provides ergonomic steering control when the cart is fully loaded. Everything else carries over from the Flagship family — all-steel welded frame, 1,000 lb safe working load, non-skid bonded red vinyl coating, ridged table edges, and 5″ non-marking phenolic casters with brakes on two casters for secure positioning during loading and unloading.
Applications
Banquet halls and wedding venues are the primary users. Round tables are the standard for seated dinner events, and most venues stock 30 to 100+ round tables that need to be set up and torn down for every function. The R1 lets one person move 10 tables per trip instead of wrestling one table at a time.
Churches use round tables for fellowship dinners, small group meetings, and potlucks. Schools use them for cafeteria configurations and special events. Selection Assistance
Choose the R1 when you primarily move 4-foot or 5-foot round folding tables. This unit is not designed for 6-foot round tables — for those, the XL Round Folding Table Mover (Model 3753) provides the larger frame needed for 6-foot rounds.
For rectangular 6-foot or 8-foot folding tables, the Flagship FS1 (up to 10 tables) or Junior FS2 (up to 7 tables, fits narrower doors) are the correct choice. All three models share the same construction, capacity, and one-person workflow.
