Overview
Single pedestal desks — teacher desks, executive return desks, and L-shaped workstations — have a solid panel or drawer bank on one side and open legs on the other. A standard desk lift slides under both sides evenly, but on a pedestal desk, the open-leg side has nothing to support the lift frame. The desk tips, shifts, or slides off during transport. This single pedestal desk lift attachment solves the problem by acting as a substitute pedestal on the open side, distributing weight evenly and stabilizing the asymmetric load.
Rated at 250 lbs, the Model 1800 attaches to any Mighty King™ desk lift (Models 2000, 2300, 3500, and 4000) in seconds using tool-free thumb screws. The adjustable height support arm locks at the correct position to match the desk’s leg height. The support arm is coated in non-skid, non-marring bonded vinyl to grip the furniture and protect surfaces. Works with both left-handed and right-handed pedestal configurations. Ships via UPS at 11 lbs.

Features and Benefits
The adjustable support arm is the key feature. It extends 8¾” from the desk lift frame and locks at the correct height using tool-free thumb screws — creating a stabilizing support on the open-leg side of the pedestal desk. This converts an unbalanced, tip-prone lift into a stable, centered one. The non-skid red vinyl coating on the support arm grips the desk underside and prevents scratching or marring during lifting and transport.
The attachment works with both left-pedestal and right-pedestal desk configurations without modification. Heavy-gauge welded steel construction with powder-coated finish matches the durability of the Mighty King lineup. Dimensions: 13″ wide x 16″ high.

Choose this attachment when you need to move single pedestal desks — teacher desks, executive desks with one drawer bank, or L-shaped workstations with an open return. If your desk has shelves or crossbars between the legs (computer desks, AV carts, utility tables), the Model 1600 Computer & Utility Table Lift Attachment is the appropriate accessory instead. If your desks have open legs on both sides with no obstructions, the standard Mighty King lift forks handle them without any attachment.
