The Southworth LS Series Hydraulic Lift Table — also known as the Backsaver Hydraulic — is the most popular and widely configured hydraulic lift table in Southworth’s product line. With 24 standard models covering capacities from 2,000 to 6,000 lbs, three travel ranges of 24, 36, and 48 inches, and platforms up to 72 x 96 inches, the LS Series provides a standard‑duty hydraulic lifting table for nearly any industrial application involving machine feeding, work positioning, assembly, order picking, and pallet loading.
All LS Series models share a 7.25‑inch collapsed height. Standard models use 115V single‑phase power with a 1 HP motor. Larger configurations (LS6‑36W, LS2‑48W through LS6‑48W) step up to 460V three‑phase power with a 3 HP motor for faster lift cycles under heavier loads. An extensive range of customization options allows the LS Series to be configured for conveyor integration, pit mounting, portability, and specialized load handling.

Choosing the right LS Series model depends on your required capacity, travel range, and platform width. Standard‑width models (LS_‑24, LS_‑36, LS_‑48) use narrower platforms for tighter floor plans. Wide models (LSW suffix) provide larger platforms for oversized loads. The 24‑inch travel models are the most compact. The 36‑inch travel models serve most general work positioning needs. The 48‑inch travel models provide the highest raised height at 55.25 inches for applications requiring maximum vertical reach.
