100% 304 or 316 Stainless Steel Access 1″ and 1.7″ Door Panel and Stainless Steel Frame
In response to a definite void in the market, AJ Manufacturing, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of the Access SST to our HVAC product line. The Access SST is a 100% stainless steel door – frame and panel – available in 304 or 316 stainless. As with our other door products the panel core is pressure injected with polyurethane foam for structural stability and great insulating performance. Stainless construction – including hinges and screws – allow this door to last longer in harsh environments. Our proprietary EPDM gasket is lab tested and customer approved for a lifetime of high performance sealing. Mitered frame corners are welded and passivized, providing a great looking door. As with our other access doors, the Access SST is available with window options framed in stainless steel.
The Access SST is a 100% stainless steel door assembly appropriate and required for many corrosive and demanding environments.
1″ and 1.7” thick double wall panel pressure injected with 2.2 pounds of polyurethane foam per cubic foot.
304 2B Stainless Steel interior and exterior sheets, standard. 316 2B available.
Cake Pan design with overlapping sheets front and back bond with the foam to create a seamless, rigid panel with an insulating value of R11.
Master Frame Construction:
Frame is formed with 16 ga 304 2B standard / 316 2B optional stainless steel.
Frame is shipped completely assembled with hinges and door attached.
Mitered frame corners are welded and passivated Integrated stop leg prevents gasket over-compression.
Door is mounted to the frame using 6”, fixed pin stainless steel hinges.
Allegis latch assemblies with progressive roller cam are recommended for high performance applications.
Proprietary EPDM hollow-core, self-adhesive gasket has demonstrated superior performance against air and water leaks in independent laboratory tests.
Stainless steel framed windows are available in Lexan, Clear Temp/Clear Temp, Clear/Wire and Wire/Wire configurations.
