Overview
Barron Equipment supplies the Action Industries Super Seal T-style garage door bottom seal, a professional-grade replacement bottom seal engineered with a heavy-duty pressurized synthetic rubber tube for superior weatherproofing performance. The pressurized tube design maintains its U-shape under pressure, conforming to uneven garage floors and creating reliable contact across the full width of the door — even on surfaces where standard flat bottom seals lose contact and leave gaps.
The 1/4″ double T-ends slide into any compatible Action Industries standard aluminum or plastic retainer for fast installation. Once seated in the retainer channel, the Super Seal creates an effective barrier against drafts, water, pests, leaves, debris, and temperature loss at the bottom of the door. The seal remains flexible in extreme hot and cold conditions, making it suitable for year-round performance in all climates.
Specifications
The Super Seal measures 4.20″ laid flat and 1.90″ when installed in a retainer. The profile features a T-style double T-end attachment that fits 1/4″ retainer channels on both aluminum and plastic retainers. The seal body is constructed from high-quality U-shaped vinyl with a flexible rubber tube insert that provides the pressurized contact needed to conform to uneven floor surfaces. The T2564-SS-W-100-KT is a 100 foot reel that includes 20 rubber end plugs (RST-05-W) for finishing cut ends.
Applications
The Super Seal is designed for garage door bottom seal replacement on residential and commercial garage doors. It works with pneumatic and conventional door bottoms across a wide range of door types, including sectional overhead doors, commercial panel doors, and any door system that uses a standard 1/4″ double T-end retainer channel. The pressurized tube design is especially effective on garage floors with dips, cracks, or uneven concrete where a flat-profile bottom seal cannot maintain consistent contact.
Installation
Measure the width of the door and cut the Super Seal to length from the 100 foot reel. Slide the double T-ends into the retainer channel at one end and feed the seal through the full length of the retainer. Confirm the pressurized tube makes consistent contact with the floor across the entire width of the door when the door is closed. Insert a rubber end plug into each cut end to finish the installation and prevent debris from entering the tube. The seal should compress slightly against the floor without excessive resistance that could prevent the door from closing fully.
Selection Assistance
Action Industries offers bottom seals in multiple materials, profiles, and widths. The Super Seal is the premium option with a pressurized rubber tube for uneven floor applications. Standard T-end EPDM rubber bottom seals are available for smoother floors, and T-end vinyl bottom seals offer a lighter-duty alternative for residential use. Barron Equipment also carries the full lineup of compatible aluminum bottom seal retainers in flat, L-shaped, U-shaped, and tongue-and-groove profiles.
