Our surface-mounted dock lift is a free-standing, self-contained, surface-mounted loading dock lift that requires only a solid surface and power. It can be used as your dock or up to your current dock to add versatility. It is designed to be your dock when you don't have one. It handles truck impacts and requires no pit or external protection. This low-profile asset is the safest, easiest, and best solution for businesses without a permanent dock. Available in 6,000 lb and 8,000 lb capacities, the MyDock moves loads from standard truck height to ground in just 8 seconds — a direct, cost-effective alternative to scissor lifts and yard ramps.Safety and efficiency are central to its design. The MyDock features Automatic Folding Ramps, a 3-sided steel frame, and non-skid plates. With standard features and customizable options, this dock solution provides exceptional value without the expense of dock construction. It can move loads between standard dock height (44.5"–58") and ground level at 33 FPM. It is also low profile — just 3-5/8" for the 6,000 lb model — and carries a full-load rating across the entire platform with no end-load or side-load reduction.
Features and Benefits
The MyDock Speed-Lift uses a cantilever hydraulic lift with variable speed control, delivering smooth and consistent movement during both ascent and descent. All mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems are within the frame, so no separate control unit is required. The unit includes integrated truck impact protection — robust construction and padded bumpers that require no bollards — and does not need pits, drains, bollards, or building permits. The full-load rating applies across the entire platform with no end-load or side-load reduction, and the Automatic Folding Ramp and adjustable bridge provide built-in safety with no safety bars, chains, or flip-over ramps to manage manually. The non-skid diamond plate on the platform, ramp, and bridge prevents sliding and slipping during loading and unloading operations. All electrical control boxes are UL approved, and the unit conforms to ANSI MH29.1 specifications. It withstands severe weather conditions and is designed to operate for 25 or more years with routine maintenance. Integrated wheels add maneuverability if the unit ever needs to be relocated, and a low-profile option of just 1 3/4" is available for the 6,000 lb model — the lowest profile configuration available in the Speed-Lift line.
